This book cover was conceptualized and designed after watching the movie, “The Banshees of Inisherin” by Martin McDonagh. The design of the book cover required a theme based off of the movie, so I chose relationships. Over the course of the movie, the relationship between the main character, Padraic, and his best friend, Colm, slowly diminishes and intensifies over time, so to represent their broken relationship a broken and shattered effect was used for the book cover.
